Bio
Recruited from the Eastern Ranges with the third selection in the 2003 Pre-Season Draft, Kelvin Moore evolved from a fringe player into a pivotal key defender for Richmond during a challenging period for the club. Renowned for his close-checking style and disciplined spoiling, he regularly manned the opposition's most dangerous tall forwards, prioritising defensive accountability over accumulating possessions. Moore enjoyed his best campaign in 2008, finishing third in the Jack Dyer Medal and cementing his standing as the Tigers' first-choice full-back. However, his career was ultimately decimated by chronic hip injuries; after missing the entire 2011 season following multiple surgeries, he managed only a brief return in 2012 before being forced into retirement at just 28 years of age.
