Bio
A mature-age recruit plucked from the Collingwood VFL program, Marty Hore made an immediate impression as a smart, intercepting defender capable of reading the play better than many seasoned veterans. After a breakout debut year, his progress was halted by a succession of injuries, including a torn ACL that led to his initial delisting. Hore displayed remarkable resilience to dominate the VFL with Williamstown, earning a rare second chance with the Demons via the pre-season supplemental selection. Although his return was brief and ultimately curtailed by further physical setbacks, his career stands as a testament to persistence, with his game tally belying his natural ability to control the airways in defence.
