Bio
Recruited from South Bendigo, Max Evans arrived at Richmond in the post-war era and made his senior debut late in the 1947 season. Functioning primarily as a rover or half-forward capable of hitting the scoreboard, he broke into the lineup for the final five rounds of his debut year, offering a glimpse of his potential near the goals. However, he found opportunities scarce the following season, adding just two appearances in early 1948 before drifting out of League football, ultimately remembered as a fringe player who briefly provided depth during a competitive period for the Tigers.
