Bio
A diminutive rover hailing from Burnie in Tasmania, Michael Redenbach arrived at Essendon for the 1978 season. Standing just 170cm, he broke into the senior lineup in Round 14 to debut in a victory against Carlton, managing three games that year under coach Bill Goggin. While unable to secure a long-term spot at Windy Hill, Redenbach found greater success after leaving the VFL system; following a brief return to Tasmanian football with City-South and East Launceston, he became a stalwart for Werribee in the VFA, where he served as club captain during the mid-1980s.
