Bio
Recruited from the Geelong Falcons with pick 25 in the 2021 National Draft, Mitch Knevitt arrived at Kardinia Park as a local talent with a high athletic ceiling. A prototype tall midfielder, he uses his significant height and aerobic capacity to impact contests both in the air and at ground level, capable of playing as an inside ball-winner or providing run on a wing. Despite his physical attributes, breaking into an accomplished Geelong engine room proved difficult during his early career, resulting in sporadic senior appearances as he developed his craft in the VFL. Entering the 2026 season, Knevitt remains a fringe option fighting to translate his potential into a permanent spot in the Cats' best 22.
