Bio
A diminutive rover recruited from the Footscray Thirds, Norm Madigan managed a brief VFL career with Richmond during the 1964 season. Originally a product of Yarraville YCW, the 169cm small man broke into the senior side for two matches as a reserve but was unable to retain his spot in the Tigers' lineup. While his time at the top level was fleeting, Madigan became a prolific figure in the VFA, returning to Yarraville where he topped the club's goalkicking twice across a distinguished seven-season tenure. He eventually finished his playing days in country football, notably starring in a premiership side for Darley and claiming a club best and fairest award in the 1970s.
