Bio
Arriving at Princes Park from the WAFL with a significant reputation, Peter Bosustow immediately established himself as one of the VFL's most electrifying talents during the early 1980s. Known as "The Buzz," he was a dynamic half-forward whose game was defined by high-flying marks and mercurial goal-kicking ability rather than defensive pressure. His debut season in 1981 remains historic, as he became the first player to win Mark of the Year and Goal of the Year in the same season, capping off the year with a premiership medallion. Although he secured back-to-back flags with the Blues in 1981 and 1982, his VFL career was surprisingly brief, lasting just three seasons before he returned to Western Australia. Despite a relatively low game tally, his role as a dual premiership player and grand finalist in the club's golden era cemented his status as a genuine cult hero at Carlton.
