Bio
Recruited from Woy Woy via the NSW/ACT Rams with pick 79 in the 1998 National Draft, Ray Hall developed into a versatile key position utility for Richmond. While he possessed the size to play at either end of the ground, he played his best football as a key defender who could be swung forward to break open contests or pinch-hit in the ruck. Hall established himself in the senior side during the Tigers' 2001 finals campaign, playing an important role in the club's run to a Preliminary Final, but battled inconsistency and chronic hip injuries throughout his tenure at Punt Road. Despite being delisted at the end of 2006 and handed a lifeline via the rookie list for the following season, his body ultimately failed him, leaving him stranded on 98 games when he retired in 2007.
