Bio
A mature-age recruit who established himself as a dominant force in the WAFL with Subiaco, Shane Yarran was selected by Fremantle with pick 61 in the 2015 National Draft after winning the Bernie Naylor Medal. Possessing strong hands overhead and sharp goal sense, the medium-sized forward made an immediate impact upon his debut in late 2016, booting 10 goals in six games to provide a spark in a struggling Dockers lineup. Despite his on-field promise, Yarran's AFL career was cut short when he retired ahead of the 2017 season due to personal and legal issues, and he tragically passed away in 2018.
