Bio
A local product from the Geelong Falcons and St Mary’s, Toby Conway was selected by the Cats with pick 24 in the 2021 National Draft, touted as the club's long-term answer in the ruck. Standing at a towering 206cm, he combines commanding reach and deft tap work with an ability to follow up at ground level that defies his size. His early years at Kardinia Park were defined by a patient development strategy, with the club opting to build his physical resilience before exposing him to senior football, eventually resulting in a debut late in 2023 and a handful of promising appearances the following season. Despite high expectations, injury setbacks and the durability of experienced teammates stalled his momentum, leaving Conway entering the 2026 season with limited senior exposure but a clear opportunity to finally cement himself as Geelong's premier ruckman.
