Bio
Recruited from the Bendigo Pioneers with pick 19 in the 2002 National Draft, Troy Selwood was the second of the four famous Selwood brothers to enter the AFL system. He established himself at the Brisbane Lions as a gritty defensive midfielder and tagger, renowned for a fearless attack on the ball that often bordered on reckless disregard for his own safety. After playing a consistent role during the Lions' post-premiership transition era, he was delisted at the end of 2010 and subsequently recruited by West Coast as a rookie. This move allowed him to unite with brothers Adam and Scott in Perth, though he managed only a handful of senior appearances for the Eagles before retiring to transition into football administration.
