Bio
The son of club legend Chris Langford, Will joined Hawthorn via the rookie list as a NSW scholarship holder. While he began his senior career as a lockdown tagger, he evolved into a combative inside midfielder renowned for his aggression and contested ball-winning ability. Langford's career is largely defined by his impact during the 2014 finals series, where he emerged as a key match-winner and booted three goals in the Grand Final triumph over Sydney. However, he struggled to replicate that form in subsequent years, hampered by injuries and inconsistency that saw him drift out of the best 22. He was eventually delisted at the end of the 2018 season, leaving the game as a premiership player remembered for delivering his best football on the sport's biggest stage.
