Bio
Arriving at East Melbourne as a fresh-faced 17-year-old from Brighton Juniors, Alex Robinson's brief VFL tenure was a distinctive family affair. In eight of his nine senior appearances during the 1904 season, he took the field alongside his brothers Bill and Fred, creating a rare instance of three siblings playing in the same side. While his time in the red and black was short-lived, the talented follower moved to Western Australia where he forged a formidable sporting legacy. Becoming a star of the Goldfields Football League, Robinson anchored Boulder City to five premierships and claimed the league's best player award in 1907, eventually earning state selection for Western Australia in two interstate carnivals. His athletic prowess extended beyond the football field, as he also represented Western Australia in first-class cricket, notably facing the touring MCC side in 1907.
