Bio
Arriving at the Junction Oval with a strong football pedigree, Arthur Cock was the son of former Fitzroy administrator Charles Cock and the older brother of Collingwood forward Eric Cock. After cutting his teeth with Northcote in the VFA—where he impressed enough to earn representative honours—and building a reputation as a clever, versatile forward for South Bendigo, he finally broke into the VFL ranks as a 24-year-old. Despite his solid form in the country leagues, Cock managed just two senior appearances for St Kilda during the 1924 season. He failed to hit the scoreboard in his brief stint at the top level, serving as a fleeting figure in the Saints' lineup while his brother enjoyed a longer tenure at Victoria Park.
