Bio
Finlay Yeo is an explosive small forward and midfielder who has climbed the ranks with East Fremantle and Western Australia. The diminutive livewire impressed at the National Championships and was a key piece of the Sharks' 2026 WAFL Colts premiership team. Yeo also turned heads during preseason testing by setting a new agility test record, highlighting his elite athletic traits.
At just 172cm, Yeo makes up for his lack of height with blistering pace, defensive pressure and genuine X-factor. He is a renowned highlight machine who can swoop on loose balls, take spectacular marks and consistently hurt the opposition on the scoreboard. Scouts note his quick feet and creativity at stoppages, though he can occasionally miss opportunities when kicking from the edge of his range. Invited to the state draft combine, Yeo is tied to Fremantle as a Next Generation Academy prospect. With the Dockers widely expected to match any rival bid for his services, he appears highly likely to officially join the club he has already spent time training with.
