Bio
Recruited from Port Rovers, Frank Gaudion was a forward pocket who briefly featured for the Magpies during the 1906 season. He made an immediate impact on debut against St Kilda in Round 5, booting his solitary career goal in a comfortable victory, but struggled to maintain his place in a competitive Collingwood lineup that eventually reached the Grand Final that year. While his own VFL tenure was limited to just three senior appearances, Gaudion established a significant footballing lineage that would later flourish at North Melbourne; he was the uncle of Kangaroos players Charlie and Jack Gaudion, and the great-uncle of Michael Gaudion, who went on to play over 150 games for the club in the 1950s and 1960s.
