Initially catching the eye as a cult figure with his flowing mullet and dashing run off half-back, Ralphsmith relied on his express pace and aerobic capacity to break lines, though he spent his early seasons oscillating between the senior side and the VFL. A permanent shift to the wing in 2024 allowed him to fully utilise his endurance, resulting in a breakout year where he played a career-high number of games and became a critical link man between the arcs. Now established as a dynamic outside runner entering the 2026 season, he provides the Tigers with vital speed and dare, balancing his natural attacking flair with a developing contested game.
