Stats
Bio
Recruited from Yarraville, Jack Watt arrived at the Western Oval in 1928 and immediately secured a regular place in the Footscray lineup. Operating primarily as a defender, he proved to be a durable and consistent contributor, missing very few matches during his brief tenure at the top level. While he managed to drift forward to snag a handful of goals, his primary value lay in his defensive work rate and reliability in the back half. Despite appearing in 35 games across two solid seasons, his league career concluded at the end of 1929, marking a short but steady stint in the tricolours before he departed the VFL scene.
