Bio
Kevin Rush is best remembered as the final member of a unique footballing dynasty, being the fifth of the famous Rush brothers to play VFL football. Recruited from Old Xaverians, he broke into the Richmond side in 1923 and was utilised primarily as a wingman and half-forward flanker. He booted four goals across his seven senior appearances, but his time at Punt Road was brief, with his football career ultimately taking a backseat to his medical studies as he qualified as a surgeon the same year he retired. While he did not enjoy the on-field longevity of his brothers Bob or Gerald, his debut secured a lasting place in history, completing the only set of five siblings to compete at the league's highest level.
