Bio
The youngest member of the famous Rose dynasty, Ralph Rose arrived at Victoria Park to complete a rare quartet of brothers representing Collingwood, joining siblings Kevin, Bill, and club legend Bob. Recruited from Nyah West, he was a rover and forward pocket who displayed the trademark family determination, breaking into the senior side in 1962 to play 14 games, including the Preliminary Final. despite this promising start, he found it difficult to retain a permanent position in a strong Magpie lineup the following season, adding just nine more appearances before departing the VFL. While his career was statistically the briefest of the four brothers, his presence secured a unique piece of history for the club and the Rose family.
