Bio
The younger brother of Sydney Swans champion Michael O'Loughlin, Ricky arrived at the elite level via the Adelaide Crows after featuring in a premiership side with the Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL. Taken at pick 51 in the 1999 National Draft, he was a skillful half-forward who showed glimpses of talent but struggled to command a regular spot in the Crows' best 22, managing just nine senior appearances across two seasons. Following his delisting by Adelaide, he was thrown a rookie-list lifeline by Sydney in 2002, a romantic move that united him with his sibling but ultimately failed to yield any senior games before his return to state league football.
