Bio
Recruited from South Adelaide with pick 25 in the 2020 National Draft, Brayden Cook arrived at West Lakes as a highly-rated local prospect renowned for his silky skills and marking ability. A medium forward who can also operate on a wing, Cook possesses a natural goal sense and class that distinguishes him when in possession, though his early career was hampered by a shoulder reconstruction that delayed his development. Despite flashes of brilliance and the ability to impact the scoreboard, he has found it difficult to cement a consistent role in the senior side, often oscillating between the AFL and SANFL teams throughout his first five seasons. As he enters the 2026 season with 30 games of experience, Cook remains a talented fringe player striving to find the consistency required to establish himself as a staple in the Adelaide lineup.
