Stats
Bio
Hailing from Koroit in Victoria's Western District, Frank O'Rourke was a diminutive footballer who followed the path of his older brother, Jack, into the VFL ranks. Standing just 170cm, O'Rourke was a lightly built rover and wingman who commenced his senior career with Carlton in 1931. He played 22 games across two seasons at Princes Park but struggled to secure a permanent position in a strong Blues lineup. Seeking further opportunities, he crossed to Fitzroy for the 1933 season—the same club where his brother had featured in the 1920s—but managed only seven appearances for the Lions. O'Rourke departed the league at the end of that year to continue his career in the VFA, where he had stints with both Preston and Port Melbourne.
