Bio
Selected with pick 12 in the 2020 National Draft by Greater Western Sydney, Tanner Bruhn arrived at the Giants as a highly rated prospect from the Geelong Falcons. Although he managed 30 games over his first two seasons, he often found himself played out of position across half-forward or used as the medical substitute, struggling to break into the Giants' stacked midfield rotation. Seeking a return to his home state, Bruhn requested a trade to the Cats at the end of 2022, eventually landing at Kardinia Park in exchange for a first-round selection. Since donning the hoops, he has developed into a composed inside midfielder known for his clean hands in congestion, evasion, and ability to win contested possession. Now firmly established in the senior side, Bruhn has become a key figure in Geelong’s engine room as the club transitions away from its veteran premiership stars.
