Bio
Recruited by Collingwood with pick 17 in the 2020 National Draft, Oliver Henry entered the league as a talented Geelong Falcons product and the younger brother of Cats defender Jack Henry. Despite displaying raw talent and aerial ability during his two seasons at the Magpies, he faced challenges cementing a permanent spot in the senior side and requested a trade to Geelong at the end of 2022 to play alongside his sibling. Functioning as a dynamic medium forward, Henry is known for his impressive vertical leap and capacity to take contested marks against taller opponents, while also possessing the ground-level agility to crumb loose balls. Since joining the Cats, he has become a consistent contributor inside 50, settling into the lineup as a dangerous third tall option who regularly impacts the scoreboard.
