Mordialloc's Graeme Pelikan was suspended for life after his first senior VFA game, in which he punched field umpire Greg Hutchinson in the head moments after being reported.
Hutchinson had reported him for striking two Caulfield opponents in a melee, which had already earned Pelikan two four-week suspensions.
