The AFL Commission re-awarded the 2012 Brownlow Medal jointly to Sam Mitchell (Hawthorn) and Trent Cotchin (Richmond), on 26 votes each, after Jobe Watson was retrospectively ruled ineligible.
Watson had announced four days earlier that he would hand the medal back.
