Bio
Travis Tuck arrived at Hawthorn with the heavy weight of expectation as the son of VFL/AFL games record holder Michael Tuck, selected via the father-son rule in the 2005 National Draft. A hard-at-it inside midfielder capable of winning contested possession, he sought to emulate the durability and toughness associated with the family name, but found it difficult to break into a dominant Hawks engine room that secured the 2008 premiership. After managing sporadic appearances over five seasons, his career was effectively ended by off-field personal battles, resulting in a suspension under the AFL's illicit drugs policy and his subsequent delisting at the conclusion of the 2010 season.
