The most VFL/AFL games played as club captain, home-and-away and finals, since 1897. Games as captain are the games a club captain played in the seasons he was captain: an injured captain's missed games are not counted, an acting captain is not credited, and when a season lists two captains (co-captains, or a change during the season) both are credited.
